Chapter 16 – Hiding from authority and adulthood
People who have authority injuries can often become approval seekers, hiding their aggressive or sexual parts. Growing up, did you feel like you needed to suppress your aggressive or sexual parts if you wanted approval? Was the authority in the home you grew up in too strict or too lenient? Feelings tell us that we are alive. If we deny or suppress our feelings, we will eventually suffocate our souls. Have you experienced this lack of feeling?
